Lawrence Dallaglio has a new partner and home as the rugby legend rebuilds his life following bankruptcy and divorce. The England 2003 World Cup-winning star faced financial ruin last year when he was declared bankrupt by the Insolvency and Companies Court (ICC).
Dallaglio had narrowly avoided the same outcome two years previously by agreeing to settle debts, including a £700,000 tax bill. According to the Mail, the 2025 insolvency hearing was initiated by an application to the court from Dallaglio's ex-wife, Alice, for an order to sell the couple's former London residence immediately for £2.7million, some £600,000 below the asking price. The house eventually went for £2.4m.
That action was taken to help Dallaglio avoid bankruptcy. However, the measure ultimately proved unsuccessful, as one of the creditors obtained a bankruptcy order.
Later in the year, it emerged he owed £423,570 in overdrawn director's loans for his sports business, Lawrence Dallaglio Ltd, plus more than £60,000 to liquidators from when he dissolved the company in 2024.

Now seeking a fresh start, Dallaglio, who earned 85 caps for England, has reportedly relocated to a new rented property in the Hertfordshire town of St Albans with a mystery woman. Given his financial difficulties, he has understandably had to downsize, with the four-bedroom detached house costing £2,750 a month, reports the Mail.
The couple also share a puppy named Ziggy, which even has its own TikTok account. One recent post showed Dallaglio walking the dog with a caption reading: "Your owner won a rugby World Cup and now you think you're famous too."

Dallaglio has been photographed with Ziggy and the unnamed woman near their new residence, including during a trip to a garden centre. A neighbour revealed Dallaglio had been residing at the property for nine months.
They told the Mail: "Lawrence moved in with his partner in May. It was a bit of a surprise when he first arrived because he's this huge World Cup winning rugby legend.
"But they've both really ingratiated themselves well with the neighbours. They've been round to a few houses for dinner.
"Lawrence always looks relaxed and happy. He's got a new puppy, a beautiful dog. I've seen him out on walks a few times. I always have a chat with him when I see him, he's a really nice down-to-earth bloke."
Dallaglio maintains his ties to rugby, having recently worked as a pundit for Premier Sports. Towards the end of last year, he was photographed appearing content and at ease at the Boisdale Xerjoff Cigar Smoker of the Year 2025 Dinner and Awards.
