Himachal News: Police has solved the mystery of the murder of newly married Suman in Kuthaad area of ​​Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. A shocking revelation has come to light in this sensational case that Suman was murdered by none other than her husband Chatar Singh. Police investigation has revealed that after the murder, an attempt was made to make it look like suicide, in which the brother and niece of the accused also supported him.

According to the police, Chatar Singh first strangled Suman to death. After this, to destroy the evidence and complicate the matter, he was stabbed several times with scissors on his neck and body. The post-mortem report has made it clear that Suman died due to strangulation, while the attacks with sharp weapons were done later.

Fights started happening right after marriage

Suman and Chatar Singh were married on 23 November 2025. It is being told that there were frequent fights between the two since their marriage. Some time ago, Suman had gone to her maternal home for about 10 to 15 days, due to which Chatar Singh was angry. On January 31, there was another dispute between the two regarding the same issue. In anger, Chatar Singh strangulated Suman. After some time, Suman fell unconscious and when the accused saw her again, she was dead.

A conspiracy was hatched to save oneself.

Frightened by his wife’s death, Chatar Singh hatched a conspiracy to save himself. He included his brother Narendra Singh and niece Nikita in this. Chatar Singh attacked Suman’s neck with scissors and also caused minor injuries to himself with a knife. Not only this, a cut was made with a knife on the cheek of niece Nikita so that the false story could be proved true.

Misled the maternal side

After this, the maternal side was called and informed that Suman attacked her with a knife and then locked herself in the room. A pretense of breaking the door was also made, but police investigation did not find any evidence of struggle. Based on the investigation, the police have also arrested Chatar Singh’s brother and niece. All the accused will be presented in the court. Solan SSP Gaurav Singh has confirmed the matter.
