SBI UPI Service will be closed today: State Bank of India, which has been recognized as the country’s largest government bank, has recently shared a necessary information for its customers. According to reports, tonight users who use the UPI service of State Bank of India i.e. SBI may have to face trouble.
Actually, State Bank of India i.e. SBI has shared the post on social media platform X. In which it has been told that tonight SBI UPI users may face problems from 12:15 to 1:00 pm.
Giving information, the bank has informed that due to technical maintenance, there will be obstruction in UPI service for about 45 minutes. During this time, customers may be inconvenient in sending and taking money through SBI UPI. SBI has stated that these systems have been kept due to downtime maintenance and system upgradation, due to which customers can get further banking facilities.
How to do transaction during downtime?
SBI has advised its customers to use UPI Light Service for transaction at the time of downtime, which is quite different from UPI and the system remains on even when it fails. On using it, there is no problem of any kind in transaction.
How to use UPI light?
UPI Light is the most Simplified version of UPI. It works even after the bank’s server is down. In which small transaction such as 500 rupees can be added to UPI PIN every time.
First open the UPI app, such as Phonpe, Paytm, Bhima or Jeep.
Please visit the UPI Light Section seen on homescream.
Aquivate UPI Light by linking SBI account.
UPI Light Wallet can be added as a balance of Rs 2,000 at a time.
What will be the benefit of this?
With the use of UPI lights, payment can be made immediately without approval.
This is a great option for small expenses like grocery, auto-rickshaw, travel expenses and tea shops.
