SBI is getting up to 7.10 per cent interest on FD

The country’s largest government bank, SBI, is offering its customers an interest of 3.30 per cent to 7.10 per cent on FD. FD can be done in SBI from 7 days to 10 years. State Bank of India is giving the highest interest rate of 6.6 per cent to general citizens and 7.10 per cent to senior citizens on the 444-day special Amrit Vrishti FD scheme. The country’s largest government bank is giving 66.30 per cent interest to general citizens and 6.8 per cent interest to senior citizens on a 3-year FD.

Deposit ₹1,00,000 and get fixed interest of ₹22,419

If you are a general citizen and deposit Rs 1,00,000 in a 3-year FD in the State Bank of India, then you will get a total of Rs 1,20,626 on maturity, which includes a fixed interest of Rs 20,626. If you are a senior citizen and deposit Rs 1,00,000 in a 3-year FD in the State Bank of India, then you will get a total of Rs 1,22,419 on maturity, which includes a fixed interest of Rs 22,419.
