Bank Janardhan passes away at the age of 76

Veteran actor and comedian Bank Janardhan has breathed his last in the wee hours of Monday morning. The actor who received treatment for age related ailments over the last 20 days at a private hospital failed to respond to the treatment. He was 76. Janardhan, who earned the prefix ‘Bank’ since he worked in a bank during the early stages of his career, has acted in 500 films . He made his debut with Pitamaha in 1985, which laid the foundation for an illustrious career. Known for exemplary comic timing, some of his notable works are Shhh! Ganesha Subramanya , Jeeboomba, Kaurava and Belliyappa Bangarappa.
