WABETAINFO has seen this feature in the WhatsApp beta for iOS 25.10.10.70 on the Testflight app and has also shared a screenshot of it.

New privacy option in chat info screen

You can see this feature in the shared screenshot. The new feature of WhatsApp is going to offer a new privacy option in the chat Info screen itself. This option helps users activate the privacy of an advanced level for individual and group chats. According to the report, this feature will not automatically save photos and videos to be shared during the conversation of the device of other members after getting enabled.

Option to export chat history also block

Apart from limiting media saving, this feature also blocks the option that exports the entire chat history, so that the user cannot transfer the chat outside the app. WhatsApp wants to protect users' sensitive conversion in its ecosystem through this feature. Blocking the export feature will also help prevent unauthorized sharing of user's data. This data will also work to protect from leaks.

Forward will be able to do individual messages
