Users will soon be able to use WhatsApp on their iPhone as their default calling and messaging app. According to the latest report of 'WABETAINFO', this feature will soon be available for iPhone users around the world. Currently, this feature is available for users of the beta version 25.8.10.74 of WhatsApp for iPhone.
According to the report, the iPhone user who is using WhatsApp beta version 25.8.10.74 can set WhatsApp as a default app for calling and messaging purposes. This means that whenever you tap on a number in an app, WhatsApp will be used for calling or messaging that number, not Apple's phone or message app on iPhone.
It is not clear when this feature will be available to users in public. Currently, this feature is available to select WhatsApp beta users.
This feature will be quite useful for those who use WhatsApp as their main app for calling or messaging. After setting Whatsapp on their iPhone as a default app, users can use it in a hassle -free manner to call/message their contacts and that too without complicating between many communication apps. Users should also note that using WhatsApp as their default messaging/calling app gives them end-to-end encryption.
On the other hand, Apple will launch iOS 18.4 OS for iPhones in April 2025 and the latest update will have a lot of features. In the latest updates, OS will provide priority notifications, music, emoji and more.
Apple is going to launch the foldable iPhone in the coming time and there is not much information about its development. According to the recently leaked information by a tipster on Weibo, which is quite accurate in terms of information to Apple, Apple's foldable iPhone is expected to be made a hire made of liquid metal, GSMarena reported.
