April Bank Holiday: The new financial year will start from April and in this coming month, banks are also going to remain closed for many days. The series of April holidays will start from 1 April 2025 (bank holidays in April). First of all, there will be a holiday on the annual bank closing day on 1 April and after that, there will be a bank holiday on Babu Jagjivan Ram's birthday on 5 April 2025. There will be a holiday across the country on 6 April 2025 due to Sunday. There will be a bank holiday on Mahavir Jayanti on 10 April 2025 and there will be a public holiday on 12 April 2025 due to the second Saturday of the month and 13 April due to Sunday (bank holidays list in April). There will be a bank holiday on Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April 2025.
The series of holidays will continue till the end.
Even after half a month has passed, this series of holidays (RBI Bank Holidays list) will continue. Bengali New Year is on 15 April 2025 and the bank will remain closed on 16 April 2025 due to Bhog Bihu. There will be a bank holiday on 18 April 2025 due to Good Friday and 20 April 2025 due to Sunday. Along with this, there will be no work in banks on 21 April 2025 due to Garia Puja, 26 April 2025 due to the fourth Saturday, and 27 April 2025 due to Sunday. Banks will remain closed on 29 April (April me kitne din band rhnge banks) 2025 on the occasion of Parashuram Jayanti (April bank holidays list) and there will be a bank holiday on Akshaya Tritiya on 30 April 2025.
