UFBU says that if employees work only for 5 days in other government offices, then banking employees should also get this facility. Apart from this, employees are also demanding adequate recruitment, regularization of temporary employees and withdrawing the recently implemented performance assessment rules.

Employees are also demanding to increase the maximum gratuity amount to Rs 25 lakh by amending the Banking Act. Bank employees say that they want work-life balance.
