Among these, banks can be closed in Gujarat, Chandigarh, Sikkim, Assam, Hyderabad, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan Jammu, Bengal, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Goa, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar. Also, banks are going to be open in Tripura, Orissa, Karnataka, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Nagaland.

Banks will be open on March 15

Banks are going to be open in most states on 15 March 2025, as this is the third Saturday of the month, which is a working setter. Banks are also going to be closed on March 15, 2025 in select states like Orissa, Manipur and Tripura. Holidays in the bank may be different on the basis of states and festivals. That is why it is advisable that you go to the official website of the concerned bank or RBI to confirm the bank holiday in your state. According to the bank holiday list released by RBI, banks are scheduled to be closed for 14 days in the month of March.

Banks will be closed on these days in March

Due to Bihar Day on 22 March, there will be a holiday in banks in the state on this day.
Banks are scheduled to be closed in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Shab-e-Kadra on 27 March.
On March 28, Jumat-ul-Vida is to live in banks in Jammu and Kashmir.
On 31 March, the banks are going to be closed on the occasion of Ramadan Eid i.e. Eid ul Fitr.
