A case of cheating and blackmailing has come to light with a woman in Baradari in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The woman told the police that a young man hacked her WhatsApp. Threatened to make his pictures edit and viral. Not only this, the accused also asked for extortion of eight lakh rupees from him. The young man's name is Monu Tiwari. The police have registered a report and are investigating the case.

The victim woman was married in Subhashnagar area. In March 2024, her in -laws beat her up. During this time, Monu Tiwari, who lives near Khanna Building, helped the woman. Because of this, Monu got to visit the woman's house and got acquainted with her mother.

Threat instead of returning money money

According to the victim, after some time, Monu Tiwari borrowed Rs 10,000 from the woman's mother. He returned Rs 5500, but when it came to returning the remaining Rs 4500, he started deferring. When the woman and her mother repeatedly asked for money, Monu Tiwari hacked her WhatsApp. After this, he edited the pictures of the woman and sent her and threatened that if she did not stop asking for money, then these pictures will make them viral on social media. Not only this, the accused demanded eight lakh rupees from the woman and started mentally tortured.

The mother of the accused also involved in threatening

The woman alleges that Monu Tiwari's mother was also supporting her son. She also used to threaten her that if she took any action or ask for money, it would be bad. Due to this fear, the woman remained silent for a long time, but when the matter increased by limits, she lodged a police complaint.

Case filed on the order of ADG

After the complaint of the woman, the matter came to the notice of the police. When the police officers investigated it, the matter was found to be correct. After this, on the orders of ADG, Baradari police station filed a report against the accused Monu Tiwari and his mother. The police has started investigating the case and is being raided to arrest the accused. Police officials say that this is a serious crime and the culprits will be arrested as soon as possible.
