Obnews Tech Desk: Whatsapp is ready with new features to make its Meta AI more smart and useful. Till now this AI Assistant used to work only in personal chats, but now it is also being integrated into group chats. This will improve the experience of group chatting.
What is the new AI feature of Whatsapp?
According to WABETAINFO report, WhatsApp has released Android beta version 2.25.6.10, adding AI-generated image. However, at the moment it can only be used to create a group chat icon. In addition, the Meta AI chat widget has also been launched, which can be chatted with AI without opening WhatsApp.
What is special in the new update?
With the help of this AI feature of WhatsApp, users can create a custom profile picture for their group chat. This will be especially helpful in those situations when users do not get anything good for the group icon.
- Users can form group icons by giving specific instructions.
- Meta AI will help from placing trip to group chat to making presentations.
- AI will access only those messages that will be present in the feed. This will not affect your other chats.
How to use AI feature?
- Open the icon of any WhatsApp group.
- Click on the pencil icon.
- The option of “Create AI Image” will appear, click on it.
- The Meta AI Prompt Screen will open, where you can enter the details of the group icon of your choice.
- Choose one of the image options generated by AI.
Meta AI Widget – You will be able to use even without WhatsApp
Whatsapp has launched the Meta AI Widget in beta version 2.25.6.14, which can be added to the home screen.
How to use Meta AI Widget?
- You can interact with AI Chatbot without opening Whatsapp.
- Options like “Ask Meta AI”, “Camera” and “Voice” will be available in the widget.
- Users can ask AI any questions through text, photo and audio.
- Users who are running a stable version of WhatsApp can access AI chatbot by clicking on the Meta AI floating action button (FAB).
