With more than 3.5 billion users, WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging software. It is adding new features to its platform to improve user experience. In order to better serve its consumers, the firm has recently concentrated on improving the Status area and plans to provide a new feature.
Recently, WhatsApp added features like the ability to play music in status updates and the ability to highlight specific individuals in status updates. The business is now introducing a new tool for creating the Status section. Numerous new options to improve status updates are reportedly on the horizon for WhatsApp users.
Some beta testers have access to a feature that WhatsApp is implementing to increase accessibility to status authoring tools!
Details of a new feature that is now being developed have been made public via WhatsApp’s website, WABetaInfo, which keeps track of planned features and upgrades. The future creation tools have been found in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.25.3.2, according a tip from WABetaInfo. WABetaInfo also posted an image of the new feature, showing that users will soon have two shortcuts for their status updates in the Gallery area. It is anticipated that these shortcuts would make it simple for users to access distinct areas for voice message and text status updates.
When the feature is released, users will see a distinct voice message part in addition to the Status area’s text, images, and videos. It is now in testing mode. Users will be able to record audio notes and post them straight to their WhatsApp status as a result. Although adding audio notes to a WhatsApp status is currently possible, it is not yet a stand-alone feature. The business plans to publish the new function shortly, although it is now undergoing testing.
