Sitapur- District Magistrate Abhishek Anand gave several important instructions in the meeting of the District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee held in the Collectorate Auditorium of the important meeting in the district Sitapur district. The District Magistrate clarified that strict action will be taken on receiving complaints of recovery of more than the prescribed fee at Aadhaar centers. He directed all the centers to showcase the fees prescribed for Aadhaar services prominently. The DM took an important decision in the meeting. Instructed to make Aadhaar card immediately of all newborns born in government hospitals.
Along with this, instructions were given to issue birth certificates to Gram Panchayat and urban bodies on time so that there is no delay in making Aadhaar card of children, the development block level will also work on the plan to open new Aadhaar centers through CSC. DM directed banks, IPPB and India Post officials to improve the progress of making Aadhaar cards. He also asked to intensify the process of activating the deactivated ID Other concerned officers were present, the District Magistrate directed all the departments to issue maximum Aadhaar cards using their resources as Aadhaar is mandatory to take advantage of government schemes !!
