WhatsApp is soon going to improve the Linked Devices feature, which will make multi-device support more functional. Till now there was a facility to use the same account on WhatsApp on web, tablet and other devices, but some features were limited to the primary device only. Now WhatsApp is testing a new privacy feature for Android users, so that 'View Once' messages will also work on all linked devices.
'View Once' feature on all WhatsApp devices
Till now 'View Once' used to work only on the primary phone.
WhatsApp is planning to extend this feature to web, tablet, and other linked devices soon.
This change has been seen in WhatsApp Android Beta version 2.25.3.7, which has been spotted by WaBetaInfo.
This means that now you will be able to see 'View Once' messages on any linked device.
How does the 'View Once' feature work?
When someone sends a photo or video as 'View Once', it can be viewed only once.
After viewing, it disappears automatically.
WhatsApp has strengthened the security of this feature by ensuring that no one can take screenshots or screen recordings.
More new features may come to WhatsApp soon.
WhatsApp plans to bring a special tab for Meta AI and third-party chatbots in the coming months. This will give users a chance to try AI tools and other new features.
WhatsApp's 'View Once' feature will soon work on all linked devices like web and tablets as well. This will be an important update to strengthen privacy, giving WhatsApp users a more secure and better experience. Users are going to like this feature a lot.
