Whatsapp users dent in the account of users, Meta surprised

WhatsApp�Tech News: Israeli spyware company Paragon Solutions has targeted the WhatsApp account of users from two dozen countries. This information has been given by WhatsApp's parent company Mata. Even before this, there have been reports of Israel being hacked by WhatsApp account. Meta officials have claimed that the company has sent a letter to Paragon regarding this hacking. In its statement, Meta has also said that it will continue to protect the accounts of its users, so that users can communicate privately on its platforms.

90 users targeted

Israeli company Paragon has not yet responded to the matter. WhatsApp officials have claimed that an attempt has been made to target the account of about 90 users from two dozen countries. Most of these users are journalists and members of the Civil Society. However, Meta has not shared information about a particular user. Most of the users attacked by the Israeli spyware company are from Europe. Hackers shared many spyware electronic documents with these users without any conversation. Meta has claimed that WhatsApp has stopped the efforts of the hackers in the middle.

However, the company did not say how it came to know that Paragon has carried out this attack. WhatsApp has informed the US agency about this attack. Canada -based Internet Watchdog Group Citizen Labs has said that Israeli spyware company targets users by sending Paragon Reminder etc. The Israeli company sells high-end surveillance software to the government for crime and national security. However, targeting journalists or civil society users through such tools is a matter of investigation. Earlier, there has been a lot of uproar when the Spaiware of Israeli company Pegasus targeted WhatsApp users.
