WhatsApp is a popular instant messaging app. Whether it is family or office work, it has become a means of contact everywhere. WhatsApp keeps adding new features to its platform to improve the user experience. In this episode, the company has now rolled out a new 'call dialer' feature for iPhone users. Now it is not necessary to save the number to call someone on WhatsApp. Through this feature, you can now easily call anyone by dialing the number.
If you also want to take advantage of the 'call dialer' feature, then update WhatsApp to the latest version. WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp features, has shared a screenshot of this feature. This feature is being rolled out for all iOS users in the WhatsApp Beta for iOS 25.1.80 update available on the App Store. The feature of manually entering the phone number in the dialer is available under the Calls tab.
How to use WhatsApp's call dialer feature
First of all, open WhatsApp and go to the Calls tab. Here, after tapping on the Create Call or Plus icon, the option of 'Call a Number' will appear. As soon as you tap on it, the phone dialer will open in WhatsApp. Now dial the number of the person you want to call. After dialing the number, WhatsApp will check whether the number entered is registered on WhatsApp or not.
