WhatsApp multi-account: According to a feature tracker, WhatsApp is allegedly developing a new feature for its iOS app that would let users manage numerous accounts on a single device. By removing the need for users to carry multiple devices or have distinct versions of WhatsApp for iOS, this upgrade seeks to streamline account administration. With multi-account capability, users should have no trouble switching between several WhatsApp accounts thanks to an easy-to-use UI.

WhatsApp’s Multi-Account Capability for iOS
A WhatsApp feature tracker called WABetaInfo claims that the messaging app is working on a multi-account functionality for a potential iOS release. WhatsApp for iOS beta version 25.2.10.70 was found to include this functionality. It would allow users to manage many WhatsApp accounts—personal or professional—from a single iPhone, as the name suggests.

According to an image posted by WABetaInfo, users will have the option to create additional WhatsApp accounts in the app’s settings. However, the program may need to be restarted in order to move between accounts. Currently, there is a workaround that allows users to access several WhatsApp accounts on a single device. Usually, this involves utilizing a WhatsApp Business account for one of the profiles, even if it has nothing to do with business.

According to WABetaInfo, beta testers who signed up via Apple’s TestFlight program are not yet allowed to use the new feature, which is still in the development stage. In the next weeks, more people should be able to access it.

It’s interesting to note that WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.17.8 had a similar multi-account option before, and beta testers could access it via the Google Play Beta program. WhatsApp constantly tests new choices across several platforms; thus, not all features in development are certain to be released to the public.
