According to the report, this feature is expected to be released in the upcoming update and is currently part of the beta. It allows users to select and attach photos to the poll. This means that users can use a specific photo for each poll option.

WABetaInfo says that this can be especially important in conditions where text details may not be complete. A visual context would be more beneficial. For example, if a WhatsApp channel is based on art, design, or food, then it would be better to have a photo as a poll option. This is where this feature comes in handy the most.

However, it still has some limitations. For example, once a photo is associated with a poll option, other poll options must also include photos and cannot be text. Also, for now, this feature will be available only for channels and it may take some time to come to group chats and personal chats.

When will this feature be released for all users?

According to WABetaInfo, this feature is still under development at the moment and will only be available in future updates. There is no current release timeline, so users will have to wait for its official launch.
