For this, investors have two options, either you can keep your deposits in banks or you can invest in post offices.

At the same time, senior citizens are refunded at the rate of 7.9% interest.

SBI Bank

The interest rates for fixed deposits in the country's largest bank, State Bank of India, vary according to the time period. SBI gives interest rate up to 7% for tenure from one to five. It gives 6.75% interest rate on FD of 3 to 4 years and for a period of five years it is 6.5 percent.

Bank of Baroda

Bank of Baroda provides 7.3% interest rate to general citizens on FDs with a tenure of more than one year, while it offers 7.8% interest rate to senior citizens.

Union Bank of India

Union Bank of India offers 7.3% interest for a tenure of one to two years and 7.8% for senior citizens. Government and private banks provide short, mid and long term loans.

HDFC Bank

At the same time, investors get good returns on FD in private banks also. HDFC Bank offers 7.4% interest rate to general citizens on a tenure of five years, while there is a provision of 7.9% interest rate for senior citizens.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Mahindra Bank provides 7.4% interest to general citizens and 7.9% interest to senior citizens on FD with a tenure of more than 1 year.

ICICI Bank

ICICI Bank provides different returns on FD for different years. It gives 6.70% to 7.25% interest for 1 year to 2 years. Provides 7.00% interest rate for 3 years to 5 years.

Bandhan Bank

FD of 15 months returns 8.05% interest rate for general citizens and 8.55% interest rate for senior citizens.

IndusInd Bank

On FDs of more than 365 days, it gives 7.99% interest to general citizens and 8.49% interest to senior citizens.

Interest in post office ranges from 6.9% to 7.5%

In the post office, investors are given interest ranging from 6.9 percent to 7.5 percent in a fixed period. 6.9% interest is offered on one year FD in post office. 7.5% interest is given on five year FD. At the same time, in some banks, interest of 6.5% is offered on five years or longer period, whereas on short term FD, higher interest is available as compared to long term.
