The list of holidays in January 2025 has been made available on RBI’s website and today we will try to know very brief information about how many days banks will be closed in the month of January.
The new year has started but the banking services will be affected in the first month of the new year itself, as banks will have a total of 15 days of holidays in this month. This holiday calendar issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) includes festivals, national holidays and weekly holidays.
Therefore, if you also want to complete some important work in the month of January, then you must know the schedule of these holidays. Meanwhile, customers can transact online on bank holidays.
On holidays, customers will not be able to visit the bank branch to deposit or withdraw their money. But such services will continue to be available in ATMs. Transactions can be done through online banking services, ATMs and mobile banking.
Online payment can be made using credit, debit card and UPI. However, the works which are to be done only by going to the bank, you have to do the work keeping in mind the holidays given below.
