There is a huge influx of devotees in the pilgrimage city of Vrindavan on the occasion of New Year. Lakhs of devotees reached Vrindavan and welcomed the New Year by devoting themselves to Radha-Krishna in the famous temples. Crowds of devotees were seen from Vrindavan to Barsana. The road leading to Radharani temple was also filled with lakhs of devotees.

The holy place Vrindavan is also called the city of saints. Where devotees come from all over the country and abroad to feel the divine feeling of Radha Krishna. Crowds of devotees started arriving in Vrindavan from the night of 31st December. Devotees especially flocked to the Parikrama Marg and temples to usher in the New Year.

The Parikrama Marg of Vrindavan was specially decorated on the occasion of New Year. This route was decorated with lamps, which looked like the atmosphere of Diwali. Devotees remained present here throughout the night and participated in the bhajan kirtan of Radha Krishna.

Amidst the New Year celebrations, long lines of devotees were seen to have darshan of Premanand Maharaj. During this period, the administration had also strengthened the security arrangements for the convenience of the devotees, so that there is no inconvenience. At the same time, a large crowd of devotees gathered in Barsana also. Devotees had come here from far and wide to have darshan of Radha Rani. Due to huge crowd on the roads leading to Barsana, the roads were completely jammed.

The administration had implemented a one-way system here, but despite this, long queues of devotees remained. The security and traffic arrangements made by the administration were effective to some extent. But the arrangements were not implemented properly in Barsana, due to which devotees had to face difficulties at many places.
