Whatsapp has gifted users new stickers and features for the new year 2025. These new features will be available (via) for a limited time. New Year sticker packs and calling effects will be available from 20 December 2024 to 3 January 2025. To use them, users will have to update to the latest version of the app. You will be able to access them only if you have the latest version of WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Talking about the features in detail, the company has added a festive background feature for video calling. New filters and effects inspired by the New Year will be available to you during video calling. Apart from this, the company has also added celebration emojis. These can be used for both personal chat and group chat. WhatsApp has also added a new sticker pack in which new stickers and avatar stickers have been added especially for the New Year celebrations.

Recently, the company also added new effects like puppy ears, a karaoke mic, and an underwater theme in video calls. Users now get ten different effects here. Also, users can now select selected participants for group calls. That is, the company has now eliminated the need to disturb the entire chat in group video calls. WhatsApp keeps adding new features to the platform from time to time. On the New Year, the company has gifted new stickers to the users.
