This means that WhatsApp will not work on iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from next year. From May 5, 2025, WhatsApp will not support versions older than iOS 15.1. This change will not only apply to the standard WhatsApp app, but will also apply to WhatsApp Business.
It is important for users using older iOS versions to update their device or switch to a new iPhone. This change will mainly affect iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users. This list includes many phones from Huawei, Samsung and Motorola. Sony's phone is also included in the list.
