WhatsApp is bringing another new feature for its users. The messaging platform is going to make a new typing indicator feature available to users, which can be available for both iPhone and Android users in the coming days. Through the new feature, users will now get to see a new type of typing indicator. Earlier, users used to know at the top of the chat that the other person was typing something. But now this new indicator will be visible along with the typing box.

WhatsApp users will get a new experience in typing from this. This new typing indicator will be visible in the chat feed itself. It will look like a bubble (via) which will be present on the right side of the screen in the chat window. When the other user types something, you will see three dots moving in it. Users will not need to activate this feature. It will be enabled by default.

It is also worth noting that this new feature will be applicable for individual chats as well as group chats. That is, when you are chatting in a group, the typing indicator will also show the profiles of all those users who are typing at that time apart from you. That is, now multiple users will be visible in the typing indicator in the chat.

Talking about other news related to WhatsApp, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) has blocked more than 59 thousand WhatsApp accounts to prevent digital fraud. The threat of cybercrime is constantly increasing, so this initiative is part of the effort to protect against danger. These actions have been taken under the achievements of the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System launched under I4C in 2021.

This system has helped prevent financial losses of more than Rs 3,431 crore by effectively managing more than 9.94 lakh complaints. 1,700 Skype IDs and 59 thousand WhatsApp accounts were blocked to prevent digital fraud.
