Bank account holders, take note! Between December 14 and December 31, 2024, banks will remain closed for 12 days, which may affect services such as cheque processing, passbook updates, and other banking tasks. It’s important to complete your banking tasks, like checking account information or processing cheques, before the holidays begin.

Though banks will be closed, online services such as cash withdrawals, money transfers, and mobile banking will remain available. Make sure to finish your important banking activities on time to avoid any inconvenience.

Despite the bank holidays, you can still use online services without any interruption:

• Net Banking: Use your bank’s website or mobile app for transfers, bill payments, and balance checks.

• Unified Payments Interface (UPI): Securely transfer money using UPI apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.

• Mobile Banking: Access various services like fund transfers, mobile recharge, and utility bill payments through your bank’s mobile app.

• ATM: You can withdraw money, check your balance, and even get a mini-statement at ATMs. Many ATMs also offer cardless cash withdrawal.
