WhatsApp has introduced a fresh update to enhance the chatting experience, rolling out a new typing indicator to users worldwide. This feature aims to make conversations smoother and more intuitive.
What’s New?
The updated typing indicator shows ‘...’ visual cues at the bottom of the chat screen alongside the profile picture of the person typing. It’s particularly useful in group chats, where multiple participants may be typing at the same time.
This improvement complements the existing indicator at the top of the screen, offering clearer signals when someone is actively crafting a message. Initially tested with select users, this feature is now available for all iOS and Android devices.
