The Government of India is working on many schemes to promote women's empowerment. This year, the Maharashtra government started the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana for the women of its state. Under this scheme, the women of the state are given financial assistance of Rs 1500 every month by the government. So far 5 installments of this scheme have been released. At the same time, women are now waiting for the next installment of the scheme.

After the formation of the new government in Maharashtra, CM Devendra Fadnavis has given a big statement regarding the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
