This new feature will show you all the online members below the group name, whether they are online or not. This new feature of WhatsApp has been shown by WABetaInfo on WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.24.25.30 available on Google Play Store. WABetaInfo has also shared this information in its X post.

Now you can easily see the number of online members below the group name in the shared screenshot. Earlier, only the name and current activity of the group members were shown in the top bar of the group chat. WhatsApp has replaced it in the new update, now you will be able to check how many members of the group have their WhatsApp open and online. Note that these features are currently in their testing phase and can be launched for users soon.
