Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The body of an auto rickshaw driver was found near his vehicle by the roadside in the Aerodrome area on Monday. Preliminary investigation revealed that he died due to poisoning. However, the deceased's family members suspected murder.
According to the police, Saeed, son of Ishaq, a resident of Chandan Nagar, died under mysterious circumstances on Monday. The family members said that Saeed was an auto driver.
On Monday morning, he had gone to drop off children at a school in the Aerodrome area but did not return home. By evening, someone informed the police that a body had been found in a rickshaw parked in an isolated area. Family members alleged that Saeed owned a house in Gandhi Nagar but due to a dispute, a group of people had allegedly assaulted him.
Later, Saeed left his house and moved to Chandan Nagar with his family, where they lived on rent. The family members suspected that the ongoing dispute led to his murder, as they had threatened him several times in the past. The police began a probe into the case to ascertain the exact cause behind his death.
