Location Sharing

Just like WhatsApp, now location can be shared in Instagram DM. But, you will be able to share location on Instagram only for one hour.
 

With the help of Instagram's new location feature, a place can be pinned on the map to find friends or family members in a crowded area. Instagram's new feature is off by default and remains on for one hour after clicking once. The specialty of this feature is that it can only be seen by the participants of the chat and it cannot be forwarded. To use the location sharing feature on Instagram, first update the app. After updating, open the chat of the person with whom you want to share the location. After opening the chat, a plus sign will appear in the corner of the text bar. After clicking the plus sign, the option of location and imagine will appear. Click on the location and share it in the chat.

Nickname Feature

Along with live location , nickname feature has also been launched on Instagram . With the help of this feature, you can customize the chat of your friend or someone special and give them a nickname.

To use this feature of giving nickname, first go to the chat section and click on the friend's profile. After clicking on the profile, a list will open, where you will see the option of nickname under the theme.

After clicking on the nickname option, you will see your name and friend's name. Now click on the friend's name and give the nickname in the box and finally save it. With the help of nickname feature, you will be able to experience personalized chat on Instagram.

Sticker Feature

Stickers can now be shared in Instagram chat like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Instagram has brought 17 new sticker packs in the new update, which has more than 300 stickers.
