WhatsApp's new shortcut will be found inside the chatbar and will replace the previous entry point that opened the camera, so users will not have to take multiple steps to access gallery content. Through this, users can directly access photos and videos and can also record instant video messages by tapping and holding.

Get Link Info on Google is also coming on WhatsApp

Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on another new feature Get link info on Google, which WABetaInfo has seen in WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.22.10.77. This feature will give information to users about the links shared in chats and groups and will help in preventing fake news in forwarded messages.
