Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 14 (ANI): Mumbai Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of another man whose dismembered body was found on Gorai beach, officials said on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Sattar. The investigation began after the discovery of a male body found dismembered into seven pieces on Gorai beach. Following this, police formed a team to identify the victim and apprehend the suspect.After gathering information, the police arrested the accused from the Bhayandar slums, who confessed to the crime, officials said. According to police, before committing the crime, the accused consumed alcohol with the victim. He then slit the victim's throat, packed the body parts in plastic bags inside a paint box, and transported them to Gorai Beach in an auto, where he dumped the remains. Further investigation is underway, they added. (ANI)
