New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has release the list of bank holidays for the month of November. Banks will remain closed for a total of 13 days this month, which includes both public and regional holidays. Apart from second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays, banks will remain closed for an extra eight days on the count of holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act.Diwali Puja, Chhath Puja, and Guru Nanak Jayanti are among the major festivals falling in this month. However, bank holiday schedule varies from state to state in India, depending on festivals the regions observe or celebrate.As holidays vary by state and Union Territory in India, customers are encouraged to regularly check the official RBI website for a comprehensive list of holidays. To avoid any inconvenience, individuals should confirm the holiday dates specific to their state before visiting a bank branch.
