1. Archive Chat

The easiest way to hide a chat is to archive it. This moves the chat out of your main chat list, making it less visible.

2. Lock your chat

To add an extra layer of security, you can lock specific chats so that they are not accessible to anyone else.

Here's how to do it:

Open Chat: Go to the chat you want to hide.

Access profile options: Tap on the profile icon of the contact or group.

Select Chat Lock: Look for the “Chat Lock” option and tap on it.

Set Password: You will be asked to create a password to secure the chat.

3. Locking the chat directly

Tap and hold on chat: Select the chat you want to lock.

Access options: Tap on the three dots in the top right corner.

Select Lock Chat: You will find the option to lock the chat here.

4. Enable Hide Locked Chats

After locking the chat, make sure to enable the “Hide Locked Chats” feature.

Go to Lock Chats: Go to the Lock Chats option.

Toggle Settings: Turn on the toggle to hide your locked chats.

5. Create a secret code

To access your locked chats, you need to set a secret code.

Choose your code: You can create a code using 4 characters or an emoji.

6. Viewing locked chats

Locked chats will not appear in your main chat list. To access them:

Enter your code: Use the search box to enter your secret code, and your hidden chats will reappear.
