- October 14: There will be a bank holiday in Sikkim due to Durga Puja (Dassain).
- 16 October: Banks will remain closed in Tripura and Bengal due to Lakshmi Puja.
- 17 October: Due to Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti/Kati Bihu, there will be no work in banks in Karnataka, Assam, Himachal Pradesh.
- 20 October: Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 26 October: Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar due to Accession Day.
- 27 October: Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 31 October: Diwali/Kali Puja/Birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel/Narak Chaturdashi. Due to this, banks will remain closed in most of the states except Tripura, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya.
