Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg shared some filters and background effects in a post on his WhatsApp channel, writing, "We're rolling out some new filters and backgrounds for video calls, so had to test them."

The latest WhatsApp update includes 10 filters including Warm, Cool, Black and White, Light Leak, Dreamy, Prism Light, Fisheye, Vintage TV, Frosted Glass and Duo Tone. Apart from this, there are also 10 new background options, which include Blur, Living Room, Office, Cafe, Pebbles, Foodie, Smush, Beach, Sunset, Celebration and Forest. Apart from this, users can use touch-up and low-light filters to enhance picture quality during calls, making video chats more clear and attractive. 

How to use filters and backgrounds during WhatsApp video calls
Start a video call on WhatsApp and click on the effects icon from the top right corner of your smartphone. Here you can choose the background and effects. This feature is rolling out for both Android and iOS smartphone users.
