The Bank Of America mobile application went down for thousands across the United States on Wednesday. Some customers said their account was empty. The bank is yet to respond to the outage. 'There’s some kind of glitch on the Bank of America website that shows $0 in all accounts and honestly I think they owe everybody some cash for pain and suffering because that was extremely stressful for a second there,' one user posted on X, formerly Twitter.

Another user on X, stated that people were apparently locked out of their accounts and over 17000 outages were reported. Alongside, many are facing issues with their banking cards as well.

The technical glitch in online banking has left the customers calling up the bank and bombarding them with questions as stated by a X user.

As customers ask for answers from the bank, the representatives have issued a statement on social media where they have said, "Our social care team is here to assist with any account related questions/concerns you may have."The technical glitch continues to linger as both the Bank of America and its customers await solutions. The last time Bank of America faced a technical glitch was back in August, 2020 where account balances displayed $0 therefore creating panic amongst Bank of America customers. As of now, the bank officials haven't responded to the glitch apart from the social media update.
