According to this list, banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in October.

Of the total 15 days of bank holidays in October, 4 are Sundays. Many of these holidays are also going to fall continuously. These holidays are in different states. All these holidays will not be applicable in all states.

  • 13 October- Weekly holiday (Sunday)

  • 20 October- Weekly holiday (Sunday)
  • 26 October- Accession Day (Jammu and Kashmir) and Fourth Saturday
  • 27 October- Weekly holiday (Sunday)
  • 31 October- Narak Chaturdashi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti and Diwali.
