EPFO Calculation: Saving for your future is very important. The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is a retirement fund for private sector employees. Currently, the government is paying 8.25 percent interest under the PF account. This interest is deposited in the employee's account every year. EPFO allows employees to withdraw money in case of emergency (EPFO Emergency Fund). Employees can withdraw emergency funds from their EPF to meet certain expenses such as further education, marriage, house construction and illness. How much to invest for Rs 3 crore? An employee has to pay Rs 8,400 per month for 40 years to get Rs 3 crore after retirement. At the current interest rate of 8.25 per cent, you will get a total of Rs 3,01,94,804.
If you want to accumulate Rs 4 crore? If you want to get Rs 4 crore after retirement, then you will have to pay Rs 11,200 per month for 40 years. Then on maturity, you will get a total of Rs 4,02,59,738 at the current interest rate of 8.25 percent.
If you want to deposit Rs 5 crore? Similarly, if you want to deposit Rs 5 crore after retirement, then you will have to pay Rs 12,000 per month for 40 years. After retirement, you will get Rs 5,08,70,991 at an interest rate of 8.25 percent.
How to check balance? If your mobile number is linked with EPF account then you can check the balance by giving a missed call to 9966044425. Or you can check your balance by sending an SMS EPFOHO UAN ENG to 7738299899. Balance can be checked by logging in to the EPF passbook page. You can also check the balance from Umang app.
