1. Updated Timeline:- The facility for free uploading of documents online has been extended from September 14 to December 14, 2024.
- Normally, updating Aadhaar details incurs a fee of Rs 50, but this fee is waived until the new deadline. This free service is only available through the myAadhaar portal.
- It's recommended to update Aadhaar details every 10 years to ensure that all personal information remains accurate and up-to-date.
- You can upload various documents like:
- Ration Card
- Voter ID Card
- Residence Certificate
- Passport or Passbook
These documents will be used to verify your demographic details.
Visit the Portal:
- Go to myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
Enter Aadhaar Number:
- Type your Aadhaar number and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Verify Your Details:
- Check your identity and address information displayed on your profile.
Confirm Accuracy:
- Click on "I verify that the above details are correct."
Select Document:
- From the drop-down menu, choose the document you want to upload for identity and address verification.
Upload Documents:
- Upload the selected documents as required.
Submit Information:
