SBI Bank Scheme : State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a new fixed deposit scheme named Amrit Vrishti. Most of the special FD savings schemes of SBI are offering attractive interest rates to domestic and NRI customers.

Earlier, SBI Bank had launched schemes like SBI Amrit Kalash and SBI WeCare. SBI Amrit Kalash Yojana is for all citizens and senior citizens, while SBI WeCare is exclusively for senior citizens.

SBI Amrit Kalash

SBI's Amrit Kalash Yojana is for 400 days. It is offering an interest rate of 7.10 percent per annum for general citizens and up to 7.60 percent for senior citizens. The last date for investment in this scheme is 30 September. According to the SBI website, these interest rates are applicable from 12 April 2023.

SBI WeCare

SBI WeCare scheme is specially designed for senior citizens. It offers an additional 50 basis points (bps) interest on regular interest rates. This scheme is available for both new deposits and renewals and its validity is till 30 September.

SBI Amrit Vrishti Yojana

SBI Amrit Vrishti Yojana is for 444 days. It is getting an interest rate of 7.25 percent. Senior citizens are getting an extra interest of 0.50 percent in it. Investors can also take a loan on this deposit amount. The time limit for this scheme is 31 March 2025.

SBI Sarvottam Scheme

SBI Sarvottam scheme is for investors who deposit large amounts. It is offering higher interest rates than regular fixed deposits. The interest rate for a 2-year term is 7.4 percent, while for 1 year it is 7.10 percent. Senior citizens are given an additional 0.50 percent interest. Sarvottam (non-callable) option is for deposits of Rs 1 crore to Rs 3 crore.

SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit

SBI has also launched Green Rupee Term Deposit Scheme to support environment-friendly projects. It is offering 6.65 percent interest rate for 1111 or 1777 days and 6.40 percent interest rate for 2222 days. Senior citizens can get up to 7.40 percent interest on deposits. There is no last date for investing in this scheme.
