Bank Holidays in September : The month of September is about to come in just a few days. In such a situation, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of holidays in banks.
According to RBI's Holiday Calendar 2024, private and public sector banks in different regions of India will remain closed for a total of 15 days in September (Bank Holidays in September 2024). If you have any bank work, then get it done as soon as possible, so that you do not face any problem when the bank is closed. The 15 days of holidays in September include national and regional holidays as well as Sundays, second and (RBI bank holiday list september 2024) fourth Saturdays.

- September 4: Tirubhava Tithi of Srimanta Sankardeva (Guwahati)
- September 7: Ganesh Chaturthi (almost all of India)
- September 8: Sunday
- September 14: Second Saturday, First Onam (Kochi, Ranchi and Thiruvananthapuram)
- September 15: Sunday (second saturday bank holiday)
- September 16: Baravafat (almost all over India)
- September 17: Milad-un-Nabi (Gangtok and Raipur)
- September 18: Pang-Lhabsol (Gangtok)
- September 20: Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi (Jammu and Srinagar)
- September 22: Sunday (bank closed)
- September 21: Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day (Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram)
- 23 September: Birthday of Maharaja Harisinghji (Jammu and Srinagar)
- September 28: Fourth Saturday
- September 29: Sunday
Holidays are according to the states
Let us tell you that the list of holidays for banks is not the same in all states.
