Fraudsters cheated Rs 11.06 lakh by creating an app in the name of SBI, cyber fraudsters cheated the victim by trapping him in the name of trading

After the fraud, the victim went to the helpline and checked about the SBI Security App. Then he came to know that after seeing the app on the group, he should have checked the authenticity of that app before investing in it. If he had done so, he could have avoided getting trapped in the trap of fraudsters.

Lucknow: Sundar Singh, a resident of Gomti Nagar in Lucknow, received a message on WhatsApp to join a stock recommendation group. Group admin Rozan Joshi talked to him and got him to join the group by promising him profits in trading. After joining, he saw the names of SBI Securities and others on the group and he trusted the name of SBI. He invested Rs 11 lakh 6 thousand for investment in shares. When he wanted to withdraw the money, it was put on hold. When he checked on the helpline of SBI Securities, the whole matter turned out to be fake, then he realized that he had been cheated.
After being duped, the victim checked the SBI Security App on the helpline. After seeing the app on the group, he should have checked the authenticity of the app before investing in it. If he had checked its authenticity in the beginning, he could have avoided getting trapped in the trap of fraudsters.
37 thousand were transferred by clicking on the link
The fraudsters made nine calls on the mobile of Indira Nagar resident Amarnath Dwivedi. These included mobile calls, WhatsApp calls and video calls. During the same time, a link was sent on his WhatsApp. Shortly after clicking on the link, Rs 37,700 was withdrawn from his account in two installments. After that, he lodged an FIR against the fraudsters in Ghazipur police station and also lodged a complaint in the cyber crime cell. Police investigation has revealed that the fraudsters got access to his mobile by making him click on the link and withdrew money from his account.2.60 lakh rupees cheated on the pretext of 50% return
Jyotsna, a resident of Gomti Nagar, received a message on her WhatsApp in the name of Aviva Investors, in which it was claimed that 5 to 50% profit would be given on investing. Out of greed, Jyotsna invested Rs 2 lakh through the app suggested by them. After that, when she asked for her money back, they started pressuring her to deposit more money. When the victim asked for her invested amount back along with returns, the fraudsters shut down the group and fled. Realizing that she has been cheated, the victim has filed an FIR against the unknown fraudsters at the Gomti Nagar police station. In the complaint given to the police, the victim has said that the fraudsters have also cheated her friend of Rs 60 thousand in the name of giving profit.Be careful
