Banks strike today: Banking services to be affected due to nationwide strike call

New Delhi: With All India Bank Employees Association has called for a nationwide strike on August 28, 2024, i.e., Wednesday. The strike is expected to affect banking services in some parts of the country. The association has called the strike to protest against the action of Bank of India in charge-sheeting all the 13 office bearers of the Bank staff union.
CH Venkatchalam, general secretary of AIBEA, shared a a press release of the association in regards to the strike and its demand from the government.

AIBOC–NCBE–BEFI–AIBOA–INBOC–INBEF extend support,” Venkatchalam wrote on X.
