Thematic Mutual Fund has performed the best among all SBI mutual funds in terms of annualized SIP returns over three years. This fund has returned 58.25% over three years. The fund's lump sum return over the same period has been 42.74%. The fund has assets under management of Rs 3,695 crore, while its net asset value (NAV) is Rs 37.58. Its annual lump sum return since its launch in January 2013 has been 13.76%.

Minimum SIP investment Rs 500
Benchmarked against BSE PSU TRI, the fund has a minimum lumpsum investment of Rs 5,000 and a minimum SIP investment of Rs 500. The fund's investment in equities is 91.53% at an expense ratio of 0.78%, of which 64.69% is in largecap stocks.

SBI Infrastructure Fund
The fund has delivered 43.90% annualized SIP return over a period of three years. Its lump sum return has been 33.25% over the same period. The fund has assets under management of Rs 3,851 crore while its net assets are Rs 57.09 crore. Benchmarked against Nifty Infrastructure TRI, the fund has achieved a CAGR of 17.70% since its launch in January 2013. At an expense ratio of 1.17%, the fund has a minimum lump sum investment of Rs 5,000 while its minimum SIP investment is Rs 500. A monthly SIP of Rs 27,500 in the fund has delivered Rs 18.18 lakh in three years.

SBI Long Term Equity Fund Direct Plan-Growth
This is an Equity Linked Savings Scheme (ELSS) of SBI Mutual House. The fund has delivered 40.53% annual SIP return while it has delivered 29.74% lumpsum return over a period of three years. The AUM of the fund is Rs 25,738 crore while its NAV is Rs 471.43 crore. The fund has delivered a CAGR of 18.22% since its inception in January 2013. The minimum lumpsum investment in the fund is Rs 1,000 and the minimum SIP investment is Rs 500. A monthly SIP of Rs 27,500 in the fund has delivered Rs 17.42 lakh over a three-year time frame.

SBI Contra Direct Plan-Growth
The fund which follows a contrarian investment strategy has delivered 37.35% annualised SIP return over three years. The asset base of the company is Rs 34,366 crore while the NAV rate is Rs 424.53 crore. Benchmarked against BSE 500 TRI, the fund has delivered 18.48% CAGR since its launch in January 2013. With an expense ratio of 0.61%, the fund has a minimum lumpsum investment of Rs 5,000 and a minimum SIP investment of Rs 500. A monthly SIP of Rs 27,500 in the fund has grown to Rs 17.04 lakh.
