This message seems to have come from SBI Reward Points, which often contain the logo and name of the bank.
The message claims that your reward points are expiring and action will be taken from you.
This message contains a link, clicking on which takes you to a fake website or you are asked to download an APK file.
After clicking on it, you install malware on your device, which gives scammers access to your personal information including banking credentials.
How to stay safe
First of all, keep in mind that SBI will never send messages related to reward points via SMS or WhatsApp.
Always check the bank's email address or phone number properly. If it is suspicious, do not click on any link.
Never download APK files from an unknown source. Use only official app stores like Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Enable 2-factor authentication for your SBI account and social media profiles.
Report suspicious activity: If you have clicked on a link or installed an APK, immediately report it to SBI customer service or cyber crime officials.
