The official said that soon the facility of ticket payment through UPI will be provided in the Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section, New Garia-Ruby section of the Orange Line, and Joka-Taratala of the Purple Line.
Payment through UPI is also possible in Delhi Metro.
Let us tell you that in Delhi Metro also, passengers can use UPI to purchase tickets or recharge smart cards. For this, they have to scan the QR code from the screen installed at the ticket counter.
