Vidya Balan , acclaimed for her versatile roles in Bollywood , recently shared intriguing insights and endearing moments from her life during various interviews .
In a conversation on the Raunaq Rajani YouTube channel , she recounted a humorous incident from a film set where the director, out of superstition, wore the same pair of shorts for 42 consecutive days, coinciding with the film's lack of success.
During the chat, Vidya humorously remarked, "I was on a film set where the director wore the same pair of shorts for 42 days because he was superstitious. Actually, I didn't notice because I wasn't looking, but I heard about it. Interestingly, the film bombed." However, when prodded about the movie or director's name, Vidya admitted with laughter, "Actually, I've forgotten the name."
In another interview with News 18 Showsha, Vidya fondly reminisced about her first wedding anniversary with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur. Despite her limited culinary skills, she attempted to cook for him with the aid of a chef while shooting for a film. Although the cake didn't turn out as expected, Siddharth appreciated her gesture, highlighting their supportive bond.
On the professional front, Vidya is gearing up for her upcoming film 'Do Aur Do Pyaar,' directed by debutant Shirsha Guha Thakurta.
