This is the reason why the government has decided to give a subsidy of up to Rs 30,000 for installing solar rooftops. However, who will get how much subsidy will depend on kilowatt and expenditure?
What is the SBI scheme and how to apply it?
If you also want to take advantage of PM Surya Yojana, then SBI is giving you a loan for this. However, some criteria have been set by SBI for this. To avail of a loan for solar rooftop installation, your annual income should be Rs 3 lakh. People between 65 to 75 years of age can also take this loan.
You can apply for loans ranging from Rs 2 to 6 lakh
If people earning more than Rs 3 lakh annually install a solar panel with a 3 kw capacity, they can get a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh at an interest rate of 7 percent. Whereas for 3kw to 10kw solar rooftop, a loan of up to Rs 6 lakh can be availed at a 10.15 percent interest rate.
